Somari
Biography
Born in 1991 in Sievierodonetsk, Ukraine, Somari is a Ukrainian sci-fi artist whose unique visual style emerges from post-graffiti, blending futuristic themes with a bold, graphic aesthetic. Her work spans murals, 3D canvases, linocuts, and textiles, with additional explorations in digital, augmented reality, virtual reality, and robotic art. Through these mediums, she builds a rich mythology within a personal universe, populated by distinctive characters and landscapes.
Since relocating to Germany in 2022, Somari has painted murals in many countries, including Germany, England, Switzerland, Poland, Armenia, Georgia and North Macedonia. Her collaborations include projects with Uniqlo and Ugg, as well as a large-scale mural for the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool. In 2024, her work was featured in an exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Ukrainian Art.
