Walls for the festival of contemporary art Gogol Fest Dnipro 2020
Gogol Fest is a multidisciplinary contemporary art festival that has been held since 2007 in various cities of Ukraine.

My reflections on the mass trend of moving to the countryside due to quarantine. Visually, I was inspired by retrofuturism, which I grew up with and which is very close to me in illustrations from sci-fi magazines, books and cartoons.
One of these cartoons was in the Funny Carousel series and was called Miracle. The plot is as follows: in the distant future, two children run across the city, changing from transport to transport to look at a miracle. This miracle turns out to be a small birch sprout breaking through the asphalt. They never saw any other plants.
In my work, I showed a character who looks at some, for him, a cosmic plant. All this against the backdrop of cities and under the supervision of a mysterious observer in a hat, suspiciously similar to my bird) 😑 🐥
